A Big hop with the Unity and Susan K Weckesser team

Hello Unity and Kate Weckesser fans,

Lovely, a BIG BIG blog hop,

More working with fantasy and that's great. 

I am just so curious what samples that team is coming up with,

 so one thing is for sure: I am going to do the bloghop too.

For today I made a tag with the newest Kay stamps,

 the tiny little houses.

And of course I made something with the last LOL

 (it's really my favorite for this moment 

((don't now what's coming next :) ))

Thursday BLOG hop day :)

Hello Unity fans,

And it's Thursday again, Bloghopday!!!

The layout is specially made for Sketchabilities with (of course) Unity stamps.

this is the sketch I used and if you'd like to join also, click here:)

Last week I promised to let you see how I've made the background.

Here is a photo tutorial:

1) put a little bit paint (high flow golden ) on your craftsheet and mist with water.

2) use high quality paper (I used special stamping paper from Ranger) 

and swipe it through the paint (in one move)  

 3) mist it with water, keep misting until you're happy with the color. 

Turn the card a few times to make the colors run 

4) dry with heattool

5) you can drop some paint drops on it if you like.

back to step 2,3 and 4

6) stamp your image (I like to stamp with Catseye black, 

it's high pigmented and very sticky) and heat emboss with clear embossing powder.

I put a few circles with the white paint, glue it on black and white paper and...

That's it :)

 I have a new layout which I made with the sketchabilities sketch.

I incorporated the butterfly in the background

 ( I like to use the stamps in my layouts, 

this way it's just a little different from the rest :)

Unity 6 YEARS!!!!! YEAH Bloghop

Hello Unity blog hoppers,

 First of all Happy Birthday Unity wish you a successful year and up to the 100!! 

Oh oh so much to show you this week!!!

First a layout that I made for Sketchabilities (of course with Unity stamps).

I like her stamps, they are so outside the box that it makes me smile!!

This was one of my first creations with Unity stamps (long time ago :) )

I still like it, that's the reason why I share it with you.

I am also busy with a special book for myself a real trip down memory lane.

I played further with the Suzi Blu stamp and with a Donna Downey stamp (it's my personal book so I used my favorit stamp)

First card for Magenta

Hello, 

 Here is my first card for Magenta,

 This is my favorite style and color combo (yes I am a vintage girl).

The background is made with antique linen distress paint.

 When it was still wet I stamped the flower with Catseye black 

(make sure your ink pad is wet or re-ink it).

 Heat emboss with clear embossing powder. 

Go over it with brushed corduroy distress ink. 

I glued some bookpaper on the left side and

 stamped the sentiment with Catseye black.

 Matte the card on old music paper and again on brown paper.

 Hope you like it!!
